I had a delightful couple of days with Christine recently.
\nShe flew in one Friday morning.
\nIt was a feast\u00a0of friends and food.
\nFirst port of call was to visit Roni and admire the view of the snow topped Richmond Ranges from her apartment while she smooched up large wiht Malo.

\nBarely home and we met Sue who had just walked Caspian.
\nShe & Christine are old acquaintances so they walked to cafe 7010.
\nI joined them a tad later.
\nLovely to sit in the sun and enjoy some lunch.
\n\"img_9817\"<\/p>\n

For dinner Mahalia and I took her off to East Street Cafe to try and convert her to vegetarian ways.
\n\"img_9819\"
\nAfter we did\u00a0justice to these amazing meals she was sold.
\n\"img_9821\"\"img_9822\" \"img_9823\"
\nWe had to share two deserts cuz we were too full for three!\"img_9824\"\"img_9825\"<\/p>\n

Afterwards we took her for a night time explore to the cathedral.
\nIt is so beautiful at night.
\n\"img_9828\" \"img_9830\" \"img_9832\" \"img_9833\" \"img_9861\" \"img_9868\"<\/p>\n

Next morning Mahalia went to rowing and then met Martin & Sylvia at the market.
\nWe found them sitting\u00a0like waifs and strays…

\nso took pity on them and went to Suter for coffee.\"img_9912\" \"img_9915\"\"img_9917\"<\/p>\n

We walked home the long way stopping to chat with Gay and admire her arty garden.
\nShe took the Sunday morning bus back to Christchurch\u00a0but due to a horrific road\u00a0accident they were\u00a0diverted so she had a very scenic route home.<\/p>\n

It was a lovely time – Christine loved our new home and my friends she met all passed muster.
