Life’s noise is deafening at times.<\/p>\n

Overwhelmingly so in fact.<\/p>\n

To have an opportunity to remove myself from the noise is rare.<\/p>\n

It is also incredibly scarey because I had to leave behind responsibilities.<\/p>\n

Many responsibilities.<\/p>\n

I had to trust.<\/p>\n

Trust that my world would not fall to pieces without me.<\/p>\n

Trust that the ones who needed to would step up.<\/p>\n

I walked out, stepped out, with not just a little trepidation…..<\/p>\n

and trusted.<\/p>\n

And they have stepped up.<\/p>\n

And the world hasn’t fallen over, or stopped without me.<\/p>\n

And I have stopped, and found a small corner of another world that has granted me time – and peace.<\/p>\n

Such a quiet, healing place.<\/p>\n

A place where I have no history.<\/p>\n

A place where I can just be.<\/p>\n
